We loved Casa Mook: best quality/price in Oaxaca centre! The restaurant is beautiful, and the service was excellent! The food was so good and the price was great (not as expensive as many restaurants in Oaxaca). Highly recommend trying it out while you’re there. We went twice.
We dined here for dinner and found the whole experience very enjoyable. The waiting staff were friendly and service was prompt. The only caveat to a five star was that we felt there needed to be some options for side dishes as the mains were just the protein but they were tasty and well cooked. The Resturant was modern and trendy without having exorbitant prices and the background music was cool and not too loud. The restrooms were clean as well. We would dine here again.
10/10 experience at Casa Mook. The food was divine and the atmosphere was perfect. Very kind staff too. Highly recommend!
We had our last dinner at this place, it was a special treat. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. Very unique place. I wish I had taken pictures of it. I had the oaxacan stew, and the flavours were unbelievable. I highly recommend this place for a nice romantic dinner. I forget what my husband had, a type of meat Taco combo. He said it was very good as well.
The restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent! We’re so happy we decided to dine here on our first night in Oaxaca! We had the Mook ensalada, the pozole verde and the traditional mixe caldo. Everything was delicious and super fresh! Don’t forget dessert; The charred tortilla ice cream was amazing and so unique! The ambiance is very romantic and there is ton of local art on the walls. It almost feels like you’re dining in a modern art gallery. Very cool! Can’t wait to go back!
came here to try authentic oaxacan food, we ordered the rojo traditional pozoles and the two different chicken mole- both had a strange unfamiliar taste but grows on you the more you eat. The serving sizes where quite small, if we had known the serving sizes we wouldn’t have limited ourselves to just these dishes, would’ve been nice to have tried more dishes here, we also went for the maiz and the charcoal ice cream, highly recommend the charcoal ice cream! Delicious and creamy! Excellent service and atmosphere, very intimate, perfect for a date!
this is a hidden gem. it’s, by far, the best food we had in Oaxaca. it’s one of the few places that actually matches its rating: food was great, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is incredible. we recommend it a lot! you can’t miss it.
The restaurant is beautiful with a ceramic installation showing all the valued ingredients on plates, lovely lighting, good music. Staff were very helpful and recommended local beers and mezcal which were both delicious. The menu is very interesting and the food was prepared with love, looked and tasted great. Excellent value, good atmosphere, mix of tourists and locals.
